Thus, the modern global energy system is at a turning point.
On the one hand, oil remains the main energy resource and a factor of geopolitical influence, while on the other hand, war and environmental challenges are driving the search for alternatives, the development of clean technologies and the rejection of excessive use of plastic. These processes are gradually changing the balance of power in the global market and will determine its future.
